Wolfie's November 2024 Mail and Make Kit
Wolfie’s Youth Mail and Make kits for November 2024 are on their way to participants. This kit contains all the supplies you will need to create a unique and artistic representation of early North American history—a painted buffalo hide.
The buffalo, also known as the American Bison, was an important resource for the Northern Plains Native Nations.
The bison provided Plains people with food, shelter, clothing and tools. They were a symbol of living free and in harmony with nature. By 1900 bison that once numbered in the millions had dwindled to mere hundreds.
